Basic License and Extended License

Basic License and Extended License

Basic License

The Basic License grants you, the Purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferrable right to make use of the work that you acquire (Work).

  • Your use of the Work is limited to a single application.
  • Items purchased under a Basic License may be used for the following purposes:
  1. For making videos intended for free online viewing (for example, a YouTube or Vimeo, Tiktok video clip);
  2. For making 2D or 3D prints intended for free distribution (for example, a goods catalog, a promotional T-shirt, or a construction project mockup);
  3. For making games intended for free distribution (for example, online Flash games);

Extended License

The Extended License grants you, the Purchaser, a non-exclusive, non-transferrable right to make use of the work you acquire (Work).

  • Your use of the Work is limited to a single application.
  • Items purchased under an Extended License may be used for the following purposes:
  1. For making any motion pictures or videos, including commercial ones;
  2. For making any 2D or 3D prints, including those intended for sale (for example, a designer T-shirt, a movie poster, or a three-dimensional physical object);
  3. For making any computer- or console-based games, including commercial ones.

How much do I pay for a 3D model if I buy it under an Extended License?
The Extended License for an item is four (4) times as expensive as the Basic License for the same item. For example, if you can obtain some 3D model under a Basic License for $20, the same model under an Extended License will cost you $80.

Important notes

You cannot redistribute or resell items purchased under any type of license (Basic or Extended), whether separately or included in some kind of collection of 3D model resources.
